Currently at the farm we have the main lodge with four bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining area, living room, shop and basement. There are also three duplex cabins that we currently rent out as a health-based tourist get-away for the summer months. There is a large barn that we are currently renovating to have an apartment and school/workshop room upstairs and we have hopes of a commercial kitchen downstairs. There are plenty of possibilities for creating more housing: our ideas have included yurts, small timber-frame dwellings, hobbit houses and dwellings heated by compost piles.

The farm itself is laden with fruit trees. There is a 40+ tree cherry orchard, pears, plums and apricots, as well as over 100 apple trees throughout the property. Last fall we put planted our first crop of garlic, covering 36 ninety foot rows. We have two medium-sized garden spaces established, as well as more field space available (with some rock picking involved!). The gardening possibilities are endless and there is a large once-commercial raspberry patch that will be one of our focuses.

We also have a 200 square foot all-season greenhouse off of the kitchen in the main lodge where we grow our wheat grass for daily consumption as well as an assortment of other flowers, herbs and vegetables. Come February it will be alive with sprouting seeds to stock the gardens as soon as the soil is warm. We are beginning to learn about biodynamic gardening and all of our food is organically grown. We dream of building a much larger, Solviva-style greenhouse heated by the sun and chickens.

We would love to work together with other progressive people interested in taking steps forward with their health, the raising of their children, and stewardship of the land. Our children are just reaching school age, and we would love to have other mentors/guides available to open their eyes to the wonders of the world. Already we have been teaching them dance, theatre, spanish and a love for the outdoors and all of the deities that live there.
