Shuttle from Spokane Kootenay Lake Ferry Schedule Road Conditions Travel Directions from major cities including Vancouver, Spokane and Calgary PRINT A KOOTENAY MAP PRINT A KASLO MAP HOW TO FIND US Coming from Nelson, B.C. take Highway 3A to Balfour and then follow Highway 31 to Kaslo. From Kaslo, continue on Highway 31, headed towards Lardeau and Trout Lake. Kootenay Lodge and Farm is about 7 minutes north of Kaslo on the right side of the Highway. Slow down when you see the sign for Wing Creek and we are just around the corner. If you are traveling from Nakusp, follow highway 6 to New Denver and then take highway 31A to Kaslo. From Kaslo, continue on Highway 31, headed towards Lardeau and Trout Lake. Kootenay Lodge and Farm is about 7 minutes north of Kaslo on the right side of the Highway. Slow down when you see the sign for Wing Creek and we are just around the corner. The nearest airports are Castlegar (a 1.5 hour drive), Kelowna, Spokane and Calgary.
